The Hybrid Award
At The Lumen Prize, we believe the boundaries of art are constantly evolving—and often disappearing altogether. That’s why we’re proud to introduce a category that embraces the in-between: The Hybrid Award.
The Hybrid Award honours artworks that co-exist in both the digital and physical worlds. These are works you can step into, scroll through, hold, and connect with—art that blurs the binary and builds bridges between realms. From tangible pieces powered by digital code to online installations that spark real-world emotion, Hybrid art is where material meets immaterial, and where presence is multiplied.
Meet the International Selectors Committee for the Hybrid Award
To recognize this dynamic field, we’ve assembled an extraordinary jury whose expertise spans art curation, digital culture, blockchain innovation, auction leadership, and cutting-edge exhibition design. These individuals are not only interpreting the hybrid future—they're building it.
Please note: This list includes ISC members who have chosen to publicly share their involvement, while others remain anonymous or are still being confirmed.
